Nickname: Laser-Light C
Logo: Same as the 1988 Carolco logo, except "HOME VIDEO" fades in below.
FX/SFX: Same as the 1988 Carolco logo.
Cheesy Factor: The text "HOME VIDEO" looks poorly chyroned.
Music/Sounds: Same as the 1988 Carolco logo.
Availability: Can be seen on the company's releases of the time period, starting with Music Box and including Mountains of the Moon, Total Recall, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, The Doors, Universal Soldier and Basic Instinct. Despite this company going defunct in 1993, this logo appeared on the 1995 VHS reprint of The Doors and the 1998 Artisan VHS release of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. This logo made a surprise appearance on the 2000 Canadian Alliance Atlantis VHS of Terminator 2: Judgment Day and also on the 2000 Canadian Alliance Atlantis VHS of Basic Instinct (with strangely the IVE warning screen at the end of the tape of the latter). Their print logo was still being used into the Live Entertainment days on releases even after Carolco went defunct and would be phased out when Live became Artisan (with copyrights going under Canal). Oddly, this doesn't appear on The Making of Total Recall.
Scare Factor: Same as the 1988 Carolco logo.
